Marcus Gary Richardson shared a link on Team Dry Sift Facebook group.
First video on Static Tech on Bubbleman’s World YouTube channel. More to come.
Today I get together with my longtime pal Johnny B for a Puff Wednesday . We are going to go thru a new method of Static Sifting.
Thanks to all the folks in the chain from the original carding method I use to share, to wrapping a dvd in parchment from MEZE. and the few I am unable to mention thank you for your part. As of recently Stephen Martek shared this method in my Team Dry Sift Room and I thought it was well worth sharing. Lets get into it .

For over 12 years, we were the Canadian distributor for Hemp HoodLamb. Our founder Marcus Richardson aka “Bubbleman” met the creators at a conference in Amsterdam, and developed a connection to the folks and their wonderful clothing line, leading to his company, Fresh Headies Internet Sales Ltd, makers of the original Bubble Bags, becoming their distributor for Canada. We used to distribute to over 30 stores across Canada. Unfortunately for it’s many fans worldwide, Hempworks International Limited ceased operations in September 2020, declaring bankruptcy.
Here’s a list that we put together of sites what we know of where you can still find authentic Hemp HoodLamb clothing. To add to this list, please email us at email@example.com.
Our previous Canadian resellers, who may still have some stock:
Other resellers we found searching online, we have no connection to them:
Watch out for scam sites
Please be careful when searching for authentic Hemp HoodLamb products online. Now that Hemp Tailor/Hemp HoodLamb company shut down, fraud sites can take advantage of them no longer being in business and pretend to sell non existent items. If you see a site with many styles, especially older ones, available, and in a wide range of sizes, you can be sure it’s a scam. We found multiple sites that look the same, while doing a search for product images & other resellers.
Hoodlamb is a revolutionary Dutch clothing company that specializes in hemp-based winter wear and outerwear apparel. They were the first brand to create a winter jacket made out of hemp. This was their original vision long before they were the brand that they are today. Now, they boast a wide range of stylish hemp clothing that caters to all occasions and seasons.
Hoodlamb was born from the Dutch North Sea when a group of surfers found themselves unable to find a jacket that could cater to all of their needs. The surfers unanimously agreed that they wanted something that would keep them warm, but would not be destroyed if worn immediately after getting out of the notoriously cold North Sea water. They also wanted it to be a product that was in harmony with the environment – something that would fit in with their lifestyle of connecting to nature. Some of the surfers were cannabis users with a high interest in the uses of cannabis beyond its recreational purposes.
They started to experiment with hemp fabric and hemp-based furs. Soon, their idea materialized as Hoodlamb’s first winter jacket. It embodied their lifestyle and morals, was functional for what they needed, and was even fitted with a double zipper to make it possible to wear while changing out of a wetsuit.A few miles inland from the North Sea, Hoodlamb’s headquarters can now be found in Amsterdam. Hoodlamb has been around since 1993 but their business has grown and changed drastically from their humble beach beginnings. In the ’90s, Hoodlamb started as a small group of creators who used to make everything themselves in Amsterdam using local materials from markets and scraps from factories. Working out of a small inner-city art studio, their early days were highly experimental and required the daily input of a small creative team.Their production has now been outsourced to China where they have their own factory run by ethical labor standards. China is the world’s biggest producer of industrial hemp, so it seemed like an obvious option to them once their business started to grow. China can have a bad reputation when it comes to factory production, but Hoodlamb creators have gone the extra mile to ensure that their clothing is being created ethically and that their products are being sourced sustainably. Their move to China was motivated by their booming business needing to expand beyond what a small Amsterdam workshop can handle. Hoodlamb is still best known for their winter wear. It is hard to come across ethical and sustainable brands offering winter and outdoor wear, and they have been pioneering this market since their early days. Their original aim of creating a warm, durable jacket that would be stylish and strong enough to survive the cold, wet Dutch winter, is still a vision that they are aligned with today. Using a combination of old and new methods of hemp production, they revolutionized the hemp clothing market with their fashionable and comfortable winter clothing.Although their early days were focused on winter clothing, Hoodlamb now creates clothing for every season and occasion. They are leaders in hemp outdoor apparel with clothing that is known to be both comfortable and durable. Durability is one of the many benefits of hemp clothing. Hemp has been shown to outdo cotton competitors time and time again.Hoodlamb’s mission is all about sustainability. They advocate cruelty-free production, ethical working standards, and promote hemp use over cotton or other unsustainable textiles. It is no surprise that they are recognized as leaders in the sustainable apparel movement. Their cruelty-free methods of production have even granted them PETA-approved status. They donate 10% of profits to Sea Shepherd, a global ocean conservation organization. Their love for the ocean, nature, and creating cruelty-free clothing made this an obvious choice for Hoodlamb who have been partners with Sea Shepherd since they first reached commercial success.Sustainable Sweaters from Hoodlamb are shedding light on the cruelty of the wool industry. Hoodlamb believes that wool is cruel and unethical, insisting that it is not natural for sheep to be shaved for their wool. Their website cites studies from PETA that have uncovered the shocking and cruel environments that sheep are kept in to be shaved for wool – going as far as to make claims that workers will physically abuse, step on, and kick sheep that they are harvesting wool from. Hoodlamb’s alternative to this is their Sustainable Seaters. Sustainable Sweaters are made from hemp, cruelty-free, and soft and comfortable enough to want to live in all winter long.‘Cozy. Conscious. Cruelty-Free.’ is the motto aligned with Hoodlamb’s sweater range, and it is easy to see why.Hoodlamb Sweaters are all hemp-based, offering the same warmth and comfort as wool with extra durability and sustainability.Hoodlamb’s clothing is affordable when considering the quality that is offered. Their products are designed to last, and the price tags are not too high. Their clothing ranges cater to mass markets, offering both stylish formal wear, casual wear, and outdoor wear. Their clothing comes in European sizes from XS to L. XL, but larger is not available.Hoodlamb creators are proud of their faux-fur, having said that this is what makes them iconic. They create realistic fur-like textiles using a mixture of acrylic, hemp, and recycled materials. Their faux-fur is so lifelike that PETA has congratulated them on helping to curve the fur market. They make sure that fur is free of any harmful substances and guarantee it to be a beautiful and warm addition to any wardrobe.
5 STARS – for sustainability, fashion forwardness, and for their efforts to be cruelty-free and give back to charities. Hoodlamb makes the world a better and warmer place!
Hoodlamb sets its own trends and follows seasons, with new ranges released with each seasonal change. They sometimes copy traditional winter looks, showing how they can be made with sustainable products instead of fur and wool.Hoodlamb fills a need in the sustainable clothing market for winter wear. Winter clothing that is both sustainable and ethical can be hard to find. Hoodlamb has aimed to change this since their earlier days. They are now shipping their products and supplying to stores globally to try to fill this gap in the sustainable fashion market.Hoodlamb will continue to create fashionable hemp-based clothing that challenged conventional fashion. They are leading the way as hemp manufacturers, as a cruelty-free clothing brand, and as an advocate for ethical factory labor. They fit into the sustainable fashion industry by embodying everything that sustainable fashion is about, from cultivation to production.Hoodlamb not only promotes dressing sustainably, but they are also aligned with many sustainable causes. They are endorsed by PETA and sponsor Sea Sheperd to help aid water conservation efforts. Hoodlamb fulls a market need for sustainable winter wear and gives back to the causes that they believe in with their profits.
What Hoodlamb stands for is sustainability, conservation, and cruelty-free clothing. Their fashion ranges are beautifully stylish, durable and functional. Hoodlamb is worth wearing and their causes are worth getting behind.Hemp is a highly sustainable product. It takes little to no excess water to grow, requires no pesticides or herbicides, and yields large returns in a short amount of time. By opting for hemp-based textiles, Hoodlamb is inherently sustainable.
Hoodlamb is best known for its winter jackets, many of which are their top-selling products. Some of the items available in their winter range are:
Hoodlamb is committed to high standards which are reflected in every step of their production, their treatment of their workers, and the high quality of their products. They are committed to sustainability and their products are durable, fashionable, and functional.
Hemp Tailor Offers Fur- and Down-Free Jackets to Get You Ready for Winter
Amsterdam-based outerwear brand

Hemp Tailor’s light but sturdy jackets feature vegan materials such as Zelan R3, a weather-resistant coating that’s derived from renewably sourced plant materials and one of the strongest environmentally friendly ways to protect your gear from the elements. Select styles also incorporate REPREVE insulation, a feather-free down that keeps wearers warm even in the most frigid temperatures.
“We are urgently expanding our efforts to reverse the harmful effects of today’s fashion industry,” Hemp Tailor states on its website. Hemp’s sustainability and durability make it the perfect material for animal-friendly outerwear. From insulated puffer jackets to wool-free knit sweaters, you can find everything that you need to stay warm this winter.
While companies like Canada Goose are stuffing their jackets with the feathers of birds who were violently killed, others like Hemp Tailor are leading the vegan fashion revolution with superior, innovative fabrics that are better for animals and the planet. PETA encourages compassionate shoppers to wear their values on their sleeve by choosing retailers whose products are kind to animals and the environment.
Birds used in down production often spend their entire lives in crowded, filthy conditions and are denied water to swim and bathe in, the opportunity to forage for food, and, sometimes, even enough room to turn around.
Hemp Tailor x PETA
Hemp Tailor outerwear is as fashionable as Canada Goose products are nasty. By purchasing a 100% animal-free Hemp Tailor coat or jacket, you won’t just be spoiling yourself—you’ll be actively choosing to support a forward-thinking brand championing the sustainable vegan fashion revolution. Urge Canada Goose to ditch fur and down, and get your Hemp Tailor outerwear today.

COVID-19 is having a dramatic impact on our lives, businesses, and on supply chains.
We at Fresh Headies Bubble Bags are aware and have implemented special working and employment and shipping practices.
Following the guidance of global health experts at the World Health Organization (WHO) and the BC and Canadian Health Authorities, we are reminding our employees about frequent hand washing, and we are regularly cleaning and disinfecting our facilities and equipment. Importantly, we are asking that employees stay home from work if they feel sick.
Many people are asking the same question: is it safe to receive and handle a package from us through UPS and Canada Post. The WHO and Health authorities have stated that the likelihood of catching the COVID-19 virus by touching cardboard or other shipping containers is low. Both Canada Post and UPS have implemented stringent controls and practices to avoid, minimize risk, throughout the transaction, from our employees, shippers, couriers and ultimately our customers and end users.
We are at this time working hard to maintain business and customer service except where limited by government restrictions. However, turnaround times and responses may suffer longer waits or delays, as with receiving new stock and updates.
Fresh Headies appreciates that as a leader in this industry we must be among those taking the lead and doing the right things to get us all through this and flatten the curve and be able to bounce back after this crisis and pandemic.
As this situation is evolving rapidly, we will update as we know more or are instructed to modify our working situations etc.
Our team is working to continue to serve the needs of customers both retail and resellers during this time, while keeping our employees and customers safe.
Our retail outlet in Vancouver is closed to the public, but we welcome online & phone orders for no- contact pick up at a prearranged time, in our back parking lot.
We want to thank our staff and customers during this stressful time, and that you for trusting us with your business and extraction needs. We look forward to seeing you once all this passes.
Stay safe, keep your distance and wash your hands.

Over the last three decades our community has made us the largest creator of hemp clothing in the world. This week we are introducing our new branding which pulls together all the threads of our brand’s DNA for the past 26 years in our mission to change the harmful effects of fashion on our planet. Welcome to Hemp Tailor .
We take the best plant on earth and turn it into great clothing with care and skill. We tailor hemp into everything from strong, durable outerwear to soft faux fur.
We began our life in 1993 as Hemp HoodLamb. We focused on jackets and sweatshirts made from hemp that had “hoods” with a soft faux fur that was similar to wool from a “lambs.”
Over the last three decades we have been at the heart of a movement to bring sustainability into fashion. Along the way our community inspired us to take on bigger and bigger challenges.
Today we are the largest creator of clothing made from hemp.
We are changing our name to reflect our primary focus. We are urgently expanding our efforts to reverse the harmful effects of today’s fashion industry.
We are doing it from the inside. We are tailoring hemp into high quality, long lasting clothing based on the most sustainable plant in the world.
